Staffin Bay – Isle of Skye

Located on the Trotternish Peninsula this isolated rock is a remarkable feature. When facing the rock from the right, daylight can be seen between the rock and the plinth it sits on. Equally fascinating are the footprints made by dinosaurs 165 million years ago seen in the sandstone on the beach at low tide.
