I think if I were to get to do my film photography days over again, I would stick to strictly pinhole photography. I think we were totally taken in by an ‘oversell’ of lens quality, and everybody was taken in by it!
Thanks for taking a look, I really appreciate it! These photos were made with Zero Image pinhole cameras. I’m working towards making my own pinhole cameras using walnut and cherry wood.
Nice shot. Pinhole is really an art and I never have been able to obtain a good picture with it.
Thanks! What pinhole camera do you use?
great shots, Simon, I love the first one!!!
Cheers Jesús!
These are really great! I especially love the surreal perspective you created in the last two!
Yes, the landscape at this location is remarkable. Pinhole cameras somehow seem to reveal its surreal character.

Hi Matteo. Thanks!
Trees in winter are my favorite trees. Pinhole of trees is even better
Thanks Jana. Yes, pinhole photos and trees are a lovely combination.
I really like those photos.
Thank you 🙂
Superb work, Simon. I love the sweeping landscape with the small tree.
Excellent details!
Thank you, Karen. It’s a fascinating location so I’ll be visiting again with a pinhole camera.
That is so freaking beautiful.
Thanks 🙂
You’re totally welcome, what camera did you use this for, and what’s your editing software? This is totally amazing. Great job.
I used Zero Image 2000 and 612 pinhole cameras: http://www.zeroimage.com
Scanned the negatives and then processed them in Lightroom. Thanks for taking the time to have a look and comment, I appreciate it.
